Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Fees are currently £25 a term (£75 a year) for over 30 hours of fun and learning - great value for money and worth every penny! Help is available for families receiving benefits - just ask and we'll help if we can!
Q: How old does a child have to be before they can join?
A: We take students from the age of three years old. although we prefer parents to stay with the very youngest members for the first few weeks until their confidence grows.
Q: How do students find out if they will like it?
A: New students can come along for a free taster morning to try as many activities as they would like to. We hope they will then register the following week.
Q: Do I have to play an instrument to join in?
A: No, you don't have to play an instrument already. Many of the classes don't require any instrumental skills, although there is a chance for many younger students to try an instrument for the first time - usually the Recorder or the Ocarina.
Q: How often do we have to pay?
A: Registration usually takes place in September, January and April, although new students can register at any time.
Q: Can we bring a friend along?
A: Yes please! If you have a friend who you think would like the activities we offer, please do bring them along - they'll need permission from their parents first, though!
Q: Is there a limit to the number of children who can attend?
A: There is a waiting list for children wanting to learn the Guitar and Piano (these lessons aren't included in Centre membership), but for all our group sessions there is no limit - the more the merrier!
